Everyone of us are having a modern yet chaotic lifestyle where that’s almost impossible to make time for ourselves despite the fact to spend some quality time with our respective families. According to experts, our modern lifestyle is withdrawing at neural pathways and making us leisurely dumb and less capable of original thought. We’ve been stressing out by our uptight schedule. Hyper connectivity is increasingly taking its toll on our brains. In the end, we end up less productive and ineffective. Millions of people follow an unhealthy lifestyle. Hence, they suffer illness, disability and even death. Complications like metabolic diseases, joint and skeletal problems, cardio-vascular diseases, hypertension, overweight, violence and so on, can be caused by an unhealthy lifestyle.

Cure your mental stress

No matter how much pressure you are bearing, try your best to stay away from stress, depression and anxiety. As long as you feel stress, there are chances where you can trigger other mental illnesses too,stress may contribute to serious health problems, such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and other illnesses, including mental disorders such as depression or anxiety. which could  badly effect on your physical health. Additionally, it can lead you to many bad habits which could sabotage your mental health like lack of exercise, overuse of smart phone, addiction of alcohol and smoking.

People who encounter depression and anxiety are more likely to experience anxious feelings after drinking. Though alcohol can defeat anxious feelings while a person is wetting his whistle, the rebound effect can be far worse than their basic level of anxiety.

When you put your wellness first, over time you have more energy to increase production at work increase thus yielding more revenue. You are able to add more value to others as you invested first in yourself. Unlike other investments out there, investing in your self is never a risk, because it always pays off.

Steps for investing in yourself

• Watch positive TV shows or something that won’t have a negative impact on your mental state

• Spend time with yourself, while doing this get rid of your phone. Example, Cook by yourself, go for a walk, read a book.

• Get rid of toxic surroundings including friends. They may be the major reason for building a negativity in your mind.

Avoid comparing yourself.

More often when we compare ourselves to others, we look at their strengths and focus on our weaknesses, it makes our mindset deficient as we focus on their achievements and our shortness of achievements. This isn’t a fair comparison and will often lead to doubt and loss of self-confidence.we waste precious energy focusing on other peoples’ lives rather than our own. Comparisons often result in resentment. Resentment towards others and towards ourselves. Comparisons deprive us of joy.
